Company Profile

With over 25 years business and database creation experience, Accede offers business a high standard database solution provider. We have created over 600 applications from standalone applications to databases that integrate to other standard products such as MYOB, Sybiz and Quickbooks. Accede has written for a diverse range of industries, including, but not limited to, Manufacturing, Retail, Human Resources, Product Resources, Filing/Document Handling, Government Surveys, Marketing and Health Standards Monitoring.

Our programming is based around Database environments for LAN or Web based applications. We program with Microsoft products or Microsoft approved products. Our programmers work to Microsoft recommendations. All of our products are carefully tested for the situation they will work in. We warrant all of the work that we create, apply or install.

Whilst Accede Data Care originally started out with Databases and Programming, we have recognized a gap in today's competitive market for an IT Company that is Data Focused. This bought about the inception of our Support Management Department, which will offer clients total IT solutions that are second to none.

By putting in place an IT Maintenance Program, a business can be safe in knowing that they have the support behind them which will ensure reliability and efficiency, minimise unwanted downtime and it will allow the client to take control by tailoring this support to their needs. Clients who purchase support contracts will receive free phone assistance and have first priority in the event that support or on-site visits are necessary. Our support is a proactive rather than a reactive approach.

We aim to keep our clients in touch with commercially acceptable and responsible standards. Therefore our aim is to provide the most beneficial mid to long term solution rather than the cheapest 'fix it' solution. We work with clients to achieve a balance between security, reliability, usability and price. We take our motto of 'efficient, effective and of value' seriously and our main aim is to add value and growth to our clients business.

This also includes keeping clients aware of changes and upgrades needed to keep existing systems secure and operational. We monitor our clients systems to make sure that virus protection is updated and also forewarn our clients when major changes are about to occur in the industry that may affect their business operation system and corporate budget decisions.

Business Strategy

Accede Data Care is an IT consultancy focused on serving small and medium sized enterprises. Our business is selling IT services to maintain IT environments.

Typically we engage with our customers through a Service Level Agreement whereby we provide on-site assistance on a regular basis to maintain our clients core IT and communications infrastructure.

Our core focus is to provide skilled and dedicated IT professionals & support to our customers. Their sole aim is to ensure the successful operation of our customers IT infrastructure and its assistance in delivering the services required by the business.

Our services are focused at the small to medium enterprise market. Because we are a small company ourselves we understand the pressures of running such a concern.

We are continually growing and improving the services we offer to our customers. By speaking with our customers we are provided with constant feedback which helps us understand which skills and services we need to add to our portfolio.

Henry Schafing
General Manager



Henry manages all the administration for Accede. Accede has interests in other companies and Henry overviews all of these divisions, including See Change Health Club. As the General Manager, Henry brings experience through a variety of work situations. He has brought his varied experience to Accede and has given our IT company the depth in experience that many IT firms today lack. You will find him very approachable and easy to work with.






Cate Schafing
Manager - Software Team; Company Director


Cate has been owner/operator of Accede for the past 25 years. Cate has wide experience in business, computers and database creation. Cate is experienced both in application and product development of business software. She is highly skilled in adapting existing software to work more efficiently for companies, e.g. merging accounting packages and databases. Cate works with a team of skilled programmers to produce database solutions for companies that are efficient,
effective and of value.




Jason Uys
Manager, Operating Systems & Hardware


Jason is head of our Hardware division with over 12 years experience in IT Management and Support.Specialising in Small Business Server and database administration. Jason depth of experience offers our clients solutions to their IT needs that many IT firms have failed to deliver. As Jason has been in management for many years, his understanding of budget and time constraints has proven useful to our clients to prepare and be cost effective.





Matthew Sayner
Consultant, Operating Systems & Hardware


Matthew has over a decade of experience in the IT industry which gives him a solid base on which to solve any problems our customers might have, either using remote access software or on site. He also monitors server performance and all backups for our supported clients. Matthew is very approachable and has excellent client communication skills.





Sam Faulkner
Web Division Manager

Our ambitious Web Division Manager is currently studying at a tertiary education institute to further his knowledge in all aspects of I.T. and also to assist him in his work at Accede.

Specialising in SQL, Access and VB, Sam works closely with Cate, Jason and Rick to provide our clients with quality database solutions.

Sam is a dedicated worker who uses using creative and lateral thinking in order to provide clients with the best possible solutions. With experience in website design, 3D animation, hardware installation, and software development Sam offers Accede with a unique set of skills that can be applied in many situations.



Jason Smith
Software Engineer


Jason has been a wonderful asset to our software team. His skills with security and databases has already proven their worth for a few clients. As data is our key concern in our software development area, this level of security and understanding, teamed with a very flexible programmer has brought a necessary depth to our software team. Jason is involved with Web and Database development. Currently Jason is increasing his skills by performing more MYOB application interfaces, and PDA interfacing.





Rick Breumelhof
Junior Programmer




Rick is a graduate of the iCarnegie program. Rick specialises in VB and SQL. Rick is our latest addition to the Software team and works closely with Cate, Sam and Jason to provide our clients with quality database solutions.






Ilona Holmes
Administration




Ilona looks after all of us as well as the day to day running of the business. Ilona manages the book-keeping and payroll side on top of general office administration.





Courtney Hallett
Administration


Courtney joined Accede in office administration in January 2010. Her duties include reception, client communication, and keeping our office running smoothly. Courtney will assist you with any queries that you have and will make sure you are quickly put through to the correct department and person. Courtney loves looking after our RSB puppy during the day, Nova, and really loves pets even though she currently can't have any at home.
